What would I fight for? Now that's a question that deserves some deep thought.

Being a boxer has made me have to engage in many fights (literally). When I step into the ring and do have to fight someone, I automatically think I am fighting for the people who are standing in my corner behind me. Boxing has introduced me to a variety of people that I never imagined I'd meet. My team and coaches have become a huge part of my life and I have no idea where I would be without them. They have helped guide and strengthen me as not only a boxer, but also a person. These are the people I would fight for. Although they are probably strategically better fighters than me, they would definitely be the people I would get in the ring for and give my all for. My Coach, Greg Culverson, has been a teacher for me not only in the ring, but also in life. There have been many times after practice where my coach would keep us a couple extra minutes and give us his "words of wisdom". Those words have impacted me immensely. Whether my coach talks to us about God, boxing, or just life in general, he always makes us feel cared for. Even though his only real job is to train us, he surpasses all expectations of just a coach and provides us with numerous life lessons. When faced with the question "what would I fight for" I am immediately drawn to the people I would fight for. These people who have been in my literal corner since the beggining, are who I would risk it all for.
